More and more humans are developing the ability to see through the mist due to humans already able to giving birth to kids who can as well. This has led some of those humans in mental institutions, some of them in prison for murder/assault/etc., and still others that come looking in the wrong places. Some are fairly harmless, and others seek to destroy that which they don't understand.
That's only one of several of problems the gods and their children face.
(If Kronos is not yet defeated and hasn't made an obvious appearance:) The evils in Tartarus are stirring, and the gods fear the creatures underneath will break loose. (Much like the book itself.)
(After Kronos' death or imprisonment:) The minor gods who sided with Kronos still aren't giving up on causing trouble for Olympus. They banded together what they can; and while they aren't but a fraction of the threat Kronos posed... They're a nuisance and are intent on causing the deaths of as many servants of the gods as possible.
All I got at the moment.

How about the gods have to save the mortal that could see throught the mist or destroy them. Then the mortals can decide to help fight or stay in the camp (the good mortals) and become sparring people and stable hands and stuff like that?

But with the human race so big, and the gods distant outlook on the human world in general that wouldn't really be plausible. It'd probably be the demigods job to handle that situation if it became a problem; and that's why I suggested it.

I see what you are talking about. Seeing what I'm talking about and (dis)agreeing with it are two different things. =P

I have another plot problem for the Camp and Mount Olympus.
Some campers, Kronos aligned and Camp Half-Blood aligned alike decide that the current order just doesn't cut it. That the gods are just serving themselves instead of the people they're supposed to. They're too temperamental and impulsive; and they believe they're only a little bit away from having a slaughter time of the human race if angered a little bit more by them. For this reason, they decide to try and lessen or completely destroy the power of the Greek gods. Since this is a mixed party of ex-campers loyal to both sides in the Kronos War; they have mixed feelings about Kronos... But all agree that he's dead now and they must make change themselves. Both the Ex-Kronos aligned minor gods' minions AND Camp Half-Blood write them off as enemies to their survival; and thus try and hunt them down mercilessly. Because of this, this group is more hidden and well-trained than almost any other composed of demigods. They do what they can to fight back against both sides, killing supply lines and striking at the weak points of both enemies while avoiding the gods' wrath and trying to discover a way to lessen or destroy their power for the greater good of humanity in general.

I like this plot, but the demigods think they can destroy the gods? That's a little extreme, why don't them trap them into a postition in which the have to promise on the Styx River?

I never said destroy the gods, and there are extremists and freedom fighters in the world everywhere. I said lessen their power or destroy their influence; which they strive to do for the greater good. You view them as either demigod extremists, freedom fighters, or totally in over their heads. That's an opinion, while the goal of the organization remains to lessen or destroy the gods' INFLUENCE over everything.

I didn't know you were talking about the god's influance, anyway, it's better to think to the extremes some times and some times it isn't.

It's how others view the organization; not how they view themselves.
I'm probably just going to name specific squads instead of the whole organization to make it more intricate because they all can't afford to be together often due to the inherent dangers of not being protected.
