Wolfezth was waiting right outside the dining hall for about five minutes before dinner started, but he didn't care. He was hungry and he wanted to blow the horn that signified the start of the dinner and get first digs on the food. I'm lucky there's no other kids here, else I'd have to shove them off and that'd take more time than I'd like. He thought as he looked at a clock nearby and it was dinnertime.
Wolfezth was still dressed in white shorts and no shirt, but he nonetheless took the horn that was at the door of the dining hall and blew it hard and for about fifteen seconds; somewhat faltering at the end. He set it down and walked a confident, somewhat bouncy walk inside the mess hall after shoving open the door. That's why I'm not on a New York street corner! I'm lucky Chiron isn't here today; else I'd be made to put a shirt on before coming on - but today's my lucky day apparently. I wonder how the new campers will take one of their first dinners with the camp? They're lucky it's summer or else it'd be living hell for 'em with all the Ares kids about shoving their heads into toilets; or their food into toilets and making them eat it. He thought idly. He got about five pieces of pork, about three pieces of ham, two breasts and a leg of fried chicken, a pair of extra large cheeseburgers, he also dumped a whole bunch of katsup over everything and got his spoon, fork, and knife from the utensil rack nearby and picked up a cup and willed grape juice into it before moving with the same confident, somewhat bouncy from being energetic walk to the bonfire to scrape some of his food off as an offering to the gods. Hope the gods like lots of katsup on their food; else I'm in trouble. He thought with a smirk. Wolfezth the turned around and walked somewhat more carefully as to not drop his plate of steaming food, which was stacked pretty high by most standards. He set his plate and cup down before sitting down himself so not to drop it over himself and then immediately grabbed a cheeseburger and started biting hungrily into it. That whole 'wait 'til everyone else is seated' never applied to Wolfezth because he never obeyed that rule 'cause he was always hungry. With that not even crossing his mind he watched the entrance of the dining hall idly as he swallowed the piece of cheeseburger he had in his mouth and tore another hunk of it off with a certain ferocity.

Tally and Annie walked into the dining hall talking to each other. Annie was wear her electric blue shirt, brown burmudas, and her tennis shoes. Tally was wearing her dark blue shirt, cream shorts, and tennis shoes. It was too bad that they would have to sit at different tables but they didn't mind that much. They went up to the food table and got their plates. Annie got a two drum sticks, a peice of pork, and two pears, and got some silverware. She went over to the offerings fire and scraped some of her food in and walked to Athena's table wear Wolf was already, wolfing his food down. She sat a little down the table and on the other side of him and had her cup fill with pop and began eatting since she didn't want to wait either and didn't see Mr.D or Chiron anywhere.
Tally got a nice peice of pork, some rice, two pears, a carrot, silverware, and a cup. She scraped some of her food into the fire and went over to the Hermes table willing her cup to fill with coke. She started chowing down since the supervisers were no where in site.
Luncia and Lauren walked into the dining hall talking about bows and arrows. Luncia wore a white and blue top, denim burmudas, tennis shoes, and her chain necklace that had the metal howling wolf on it. Lauren was wearing a green and white shirt, a blue skort, and tennis shoes. They both got their plates and started getting their food. Luncia got a pear, some pork, rice, pickles, silverware and a cup. She got some salsa and mixed it into her rice and then scraped some of her food in and went over to her table, having her cup fill with Hawian punch. She didn't wait to eat either because since no supervisers were around.
Lauren got some cheeze pizza cover with black olivas, and mushrooms. She also got some salsa to dip her pizza in, rice, a spoon, and a cup. She scraped some of her food in the fire and went to her table chowing down just because she forgot about the rule.

Wolfezth smirked as the girls walked in and swallowed his mouthful of cheeseburger before he hollered; "Woo! Rookies in da house!" then he said in a more clear and less rowdy voice; "As the senior camper here I better tell you to look at the bulletin that has all the rules of the lunchroom above the food aisles on the wall." After he said this, he stuffed the rest of his extra large cheeseburger in his mouth, using the katsup slathered on it to help slide it all in and started chewing.
He picked up a piece of pork with his right hand as he was chewing so he could immediate stuff another katsup laden piece of fresh meat into his mouth. He looked around in mild confusion when all the rookies spread out to their own separate tables. Then it occurred to him that since they were rookies they didn't know you could sit anywhere you wanted if there was no supervisor present. Wolfezth still had a mouth stuffed with food he was chewing, but he picked up his plate and walked it along with his cup over to the Ares table and sat down as he knew about the only Ares kid in camp at the moment was Hydros whom he was buddies with.
He swallowed his mouthful of cheeseburger with the aid of a gulp of grape juice to help it slide down. He grinned as he looked around the room to see the faces of the rookies who saw him nonchalantly do what they thought was unthinkable as he stuffed the piece of pork he had in his right hand in his mouth. With his left hand, he grabbed a napkin and wiped his face free of katsup and his hands too absentmindedly before swallowing his piece of pork and returning to his meal; dropping his used napkin on the side of his plate and grabbing a boneless chicken wing to devour.

They four girls were surprised when Wolf shouted, but they knew the rules. When Wolf went over to the Ares table, Tally and Annie were the only ones really surprised. Luncia and Lauren just shurged it off, they really just wanted to be at their tables and they didn't care. Annie wondered why Wolf didn't just sit there at first and Tally just kept eatting after her moment of surprise. The rest of them went back to eatting. Tally finished her plate first after chowing down and put her plate away and went back to her table with her cup remaining. She had it fill with more coke and put her hand in her pocket. She pulled out a peice of gum, not caring if gum wasn't allowed or not and put the cherry gum in her mouth. She got Annie's attiention and threw her a blueberry peice. She also threw Luncia and Lauren watermelon gum.

Hydros walked into the dining hall, his sword swaying at his side as he walked. He picked up a tray and moved along the serving area, picking up two cheeseburgers with bacon and a portion of fries. He walked over to the Ares table, and dumped his tray across from Wolf, then with a flick he unsheathed his sword with his left hand and stabbed it through the wooden bench with a loud crack, sending splinters flying, then sat down next to it. "that should give the newbies a good fright."
He said with a sly grin.

Wolfezth grinned as Hydros walked into the dining hall knowing he was probably all boozed up at the moment. He calmly watched as Hydros walked over to his table and dumped his trey in front of him. Wolfezth wasn't really surprised when Hydros stabbed his sword into the bench, but he said calmly; "Lucky Chiron wasn't here or he'd flip the fuck out. Anything goes when there are no supervisors here though, 'eh?"
He then looked up and around and hollered once more; "Do not be alarmed, that was only a MINOR threat to your death. It is a rather large threat to your health however as the benches' paint here when broken give off a rather venomous gas and you aren't given the immunity shots to it until the real Camp starts in the fall. The gas is probably to prevent things like this from happening, but as you see it doesn't work all the time. The gas is slightly fatal if untreated for more than about ten minutes or so - so don't worry... You might not die; if you're lucky." While he was talking he picked up another cheeseburger with his right handand when he was done wolfed down a piece of it. He pointed his left hand in the vague direction of the infirmary as he began chewing. Chiron'll be PISSED at me later, but I don' care.

Lauren jumped a little when she heard the crack of splinters but figured that will happen a lot when the supervisors weren't around. All four of the girls didn't believe Wolf that the paint had toxic gas, because how stupid would that be if new campers come around and one get's pushed onto a bench and cracks it? Lauren looked at the two at the Ares table and said to Wolf, "Yeah right, if there was toxic gas, I could heal someone quickly, try another prank," she said. She went back to eatting, she had her peice of gum in her pocket.
Luncia, and Annie also had put their gum in their pockets and went back to eatting. Becoming less freaked out or surprised by Wolf and Hydros.

Hydros looked at them seriously. "Well you have us there, but the wood however does release a toxic gas that attacks a persons digestive function, causing nausea, dizziness and vomiting. Me and Wolf found this out a few years back when we had a fight and destroyed one of the tables, luckily for us we'd both been drinking and apparently whiskey counteracts the effects of quite a lot of toxic and nerve gasses. Why do think I always carry it around."
He took a hip flask from his trouser pocket and shook it from side to side at them, the liquid sloshing inside making a clearly audible sound.
"Good luck new kids."

While Lauren was spewing what was one hundred percent bullshit, Wolfezth was finishing his cheeseburger. When Hydros made the toxic gas comment, Wolfezth cringed slightly. "Not good memories." He muttered. That should set the stage for one of us later to come in and be even more cruel; or maybe they'll get the gist of it quickly and we'll actually tell them real information and they won't believe us. That's even better; but I'm pretty much done with these rookies... They're no fun at all; the law-abiding panzies.
On a more positive note, Wolfezth asked Hydros; "Did yah hear 'bout the quest that's supposed tah be in the works right now? It's supposed to go to tah senior campers as usual, and that's us this time 'round. Nothin' like a quest or three a season to get the heart beatin', 'eh? I dunno about the details and specifics of it yet, but I'm almost certain they have a quest in the works." he said this in a low, serious tone so the rookies couldn't hear what he was saying. "We could show these rookies how to actually do amazing things instead of being told about them or reading about them in a book." he said a little bit louder so the rookies could all hear him. "Damn," Wolfezth muttered, slamming his right hand on the table; "Just thinking about a quest gets me pumped up. Risking your life for fame and doing the dirty work of the gods sounds so DAMN good. It should sound so DAMN good to the children of the gods that have to go and do the dirty work, the deadly chores of the gods... Just so they can have some ooh's and aah's from the camp of us; the little helpers, the little tinkerers working so damn dilligently at fixing our predecessors mistakes and being tricked by them into making our own... " He muttered sarcastically, this time not caring if the rookies heard him or not. "Ah well, it was a life we were given; and the life we must endure. 'Least we're all in it together, even though it rarely seems like it." he said on a lighter note.

Lauren looked at them with the, are you kinding me? gaze. "Look, whiskey doesn't do much more than give your brain pleasure, get you drunk, and leave you with what is called, a hang over. Only if someone believed you would that actually have those symptoms," she said to him.
Your brain could be very powerful with that type of stuff and Lauren was most likely right, thought Annie. Tally put in her iPod plug head phones and turned the volume up to block out the sound. Luncia was done with her plate and put it away. She came back and had her cup fill again with Hawian punch and relaxed, ready to hear Tally and Annie start arguing with the Ares and Athena kid.
Later, when the girls were done eatting the guys were whispering to each other or something. Their cups were put away and Tally had spit out her gum. Then Lauren heard something about a quest but decided against asking any about it since Wolf told her how rookie campers died for nothing. The girls walked out of the dining hall and to separate places to train some.

Hydros listened to Wolf as he finished his meal. He gulped down his drink. "Hell yeah, it's about time we got some real action, it's getting stuffy around here with all these new kids that won't even try to bend the rules to have some fun. I mean what's up with that, when I got here I dragged a small Minotaur's corpse through those gates into the main grounds and yelled at the top of my lungs. And the first thing you did was get in a fight with someone 3 years your senior. These kids have walked in and not put a foot wrong yet."
Hydros got up and put his tray on the cleaning belt to be taken down to the kitchen, he walked back over to the bench and yanked his blade from the bench and sheathed it. "Can't wait to see those kids faces when they find out what enchantment really was in the wood." He said with a sly grin.
"Well I'm off to find something to do, I'll likely be in the arena later if you want to go for our record." And with that he walked out of the doors.

Wolfezth gulped down his drink as he listened to Hydros' rookie comment. "Yeah, a few years ago the rookies would've been challenging us for bragging rights by now and saying all kinds of bull that they could kick our asses and such. Nothing like that nowadays. Besides, we already have three senior campers here. You, me, and that Aphrodite girl - so it works out perfectly! I suppose if this was a musical a bunch of high school kids would jump out and start singing 'We're all in this Together' about now; but it isn't so I'ma just dump my trey on the conveyor belt. He got up as Hydros was getting his sword out of the bench and set his empty cup and mostly kapsup ridden plate on the belt.
Wolfezth snorted as Hydros made his comment going out the door, yelling to him; "You got lucky as HELL last time! I lost my footing on a slick mud part of the grass, you douchebag! Lucky as HELL!" Wolfezth grinned at that, knowing that he and Hydros would have to settle that eventually. Wolfezth then just shrugged and went back outside to probably train a little bit more and sleep; wait for the quest to come. Bah; only thing that still keeps my crazy ass sane is that we're all in this together. Without that kinship I'd've gone mad a long time ago finding out our place in this world to my already inherent dislike of being an outcast to the world in general. Oh well, no better way to make friends than by saving someone's life during a quest. he thought as he walked toward the door and pushed back open the gates.
