A major enemy outpost had been discovered by a rookie scout team led by Clarence Brand this morning, and the rebels had been stealthily surrounding the establishment since then. The outpost was only about a mile and a half from the nearest highway, which they found odd. Why would you not just hide it literally in the middle of the giant desert if you don't want to be found? It was a windy day, so fortunately visibility wasn't at its best due to rolling dust clouds and the rocky terrain supporting their ability to hide. They were split into three person groups, which came up to 17 groups as the normal squad had four and Lost Cause was short one so two groups had four people in them. They were about a half mile away from the camp, and all took cover and organized themselves in a surrounding formation sort of like this.
Alaina's squad consisted of Micheal Sree, Clarence Brand, and herself. Her squad was the one that would dive down on the north side of their camp when the signal - a battle horn was blown. She knew the two with her could fight, but she sure as hell knew they were gonna be assholes about it. They were quiet now, hiding behind a rather large boulder with weapons drawn, but that would change soon.

It soon became blindingly obvious that Wolfezth had no sense of direction and Claire began leading the travel after about fifteen minutes of flying in the wrong direction.
Wolfezth and Blake were flying about fifty feet behind her in the second row; because they were flying in formation that made them appear as a larger force than they were from a distance while still maintaining safe distance. They traveled in a pyramid-like formation with the number of people in each row increasing by one every row, with a distance of 45-55 yards between each row. Vincent was in one of the middle rows due to his ineptness at riding what he called "a flying horse with a bad attitude."
"Shit man, I hope she knows what she's doing if she's gonna take charge like that." Wolfezth said offhandedly.
Blake looked at him with a smirk and said; "I dunno man, I think that's kind'a hot."
Wolfezth grinned at his friend and said: "After the big slap in the face to the other faction, m'kay?"
"Is that what you're waiting on?" Blake as he countered a question with another question.
"It doesn't need to be official, so I don't care either way."
"Then how do you know Vince isn't gonna get with her since you like being 'unofficial'?"
Wolfezth burst out laughing at that one, and so did Blake.
"That was good, Blake! That was a good one!"
"Haha; yeah. But on a serious note someone else might."
"Naw, I seriously doubt it."
"Do it as an insurance policy, y'know?"
"You just wanna see if it flops so you can laugh at me don't'cha?"
"It'd be funny if it did but I know it won't so I don't care."
"If you say so."
"Same time when the battle's over?"
"Fuck it, I'm in Blake-O."
"Blake-O? So I'm like Steve-O?"
"Yeah, except not as crazy and a bit dumber."
"Yeah, OK Wolf."
"Just giving a morale boost."
"Pfft!! How soon 'til we get to Nevada?" Blake asked.
"Judging by the calibration and direction and the size of the cosmic and wind speed, force, and power I'd have to say I don't have a damn clue."
"Congratulations meteorologist Wolfezth Deraine for another exciting forecast of "I don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about!"
"Thank you very much, intern Blake Reed!"
"Oh go to Hades you prick."
"No thankee, not until I go there to beat the brakes off of Hades himself."
"Slight case of overconfidence you got there, Wolf."
"No, not at all mate. Not at all; 'cause I'm the goddamned god killer."
"Might actually wanna kill one before you go around saying that."
"In due time, Blakey boy."
"You're coming up with all the shitty nicknames in the book now, aren't'cha?"
"You know it!"
