Roly wasn't feeling like doing anything today. He was bored and lazy, sitting outside and leaning against the Hephaestus cabin with his prized water bottle in his lap. He didn't care what anyone thought of him, really, but he knew that if angered he was very dangerous. He was thinking about going and getting his guitar to try and make up a song, but decided soon after the thought that it would require too much movement and use some of his energy. Roly open his teal optics and looked around curiously, wondering if any other campers would be around the Hephaestus cabin.
Roly's thoughts bounced over to his half-sibling and he began to wonder what they were up to. Probably making something, or having fun with fire. Which gave him an idea of an activity he could do after he got past his lazy streak. He straightened his back a little and smoothed his shorts, these ones brown with his orange Camp Half Blood tee covering his torso. On his feet were a pair of flip-flops, the color of deer skin.

Aaron Timbers was to the side of the Hephaestus cabin where he had set up a few pop cans on a wooden plank for target practice. He put an arrow onto the string and pulled it back, holding the arrow in between his middle and ring finger. He aimed at a Pepsi can which was the farthest away and the closest to the ground. He released the arrow and it whizzed through the air hitting the can with a tink right in the middle of the E. Aaron smiled. He walked over to the can to retrieve his arrow from the can.
Aaron continued shooting arrows at the cans once splitting a Mountain Dew can in half. He then decided to try something a little harder. Quarters. Most demi-gods only had drachmas but Aaron always kept some real world money with him just in case. He threw the quarter into the air and then let the arrow he had set fly at it. A small and moving target was hard, but Aaron managed to just barely hit the top edge of the change. "Darn it." He said to himself. "I still need practice." He continued doing this until finally he grew to frustrated. Then he sat on the ground and looked at his bow, Frostbite.

Roly had now managed t ostand up after hearing a noise. Sheer curiousity was what drove him to do this, he wanted to investigate that noise. Whatever it was it had managed to diminish his laziness. The sixteen year old stood and walked over to see what it was, only to find what he thought to be another Hephaestus kid like himself. He watched the kid with his bow quietly, eyes following every movement.
"Good job." Roly murmured, and slowly unscrewed the cap on his water bottle. He liked to stay hydrated and actually admired water, but ice was the thing he truly hated. Water was okay. He brought the bottle up to his lips and took a quick drink, and placed the cap back on top and fastened it, only to then shove it into his pocket. Roly was no good at archery, but was an okay swordsman and even better with daggers and small knives, like his kunai.

Aaron drew back his bow once more and threw a penny into the air. The penny sailed high above Aaron's head and then, when it reached head height, Aaron shot his bow and the arrow whizzed through ther sky, barely missing his target. It was then that Aaron noticed someone watching him. He blushed, embarassed because he had been watched missing the change.
Aaron smiled when the older man complimented him but said, "Are you kidding? I did terrible!" He laughed. Aaron brought out a pop can that hadn't been split in half to his lips and slurped the sugary drink down quickly. " I'm Aaron." He saaid.

Roly looked at his what he thought to be half-sibling, kind of hoping he was yet kind of hoping he wasn't. "So, are you a child of Hephaestus too?" He asked this quietly, looking the kid over once more. He couldn't be much younger than himself, only about a year's difference, but it really wasn't Roly's fault that he was new and hardly knew his way around camp, let alone any of the other campers.
He looked at Aaron and then realized he didn't tell him his name. "I'm Roly. Pleased to meet you." It was often that he forgot to do things, and it was also often that he got really angry with himself after doing this. Luckily he was feeling a bit to lazy right now to do anything but talk, stand, and drink water. It was amazing how he hadn't snapped for three days straight, he was feeling undeniably happy for some reason.
((OOC: Sorry I took so long to reply.))

Aaron drew back another arrow and released it. It flew through the air eventually hitting a can of Diet Coke right through the O in Coke. "That was about the only time I got my target." He laughed. He continued to shoot cans of pop until he ran out of arrows. He the went and took themout of the cans and put them in his quiver.
"Nice to meet you Roly." He said smiling. Aaron once again took a drink of his delicous sugary pop. "Ahh, I love pop, how about you?" He asked. Aaron looked at his bow smiling. It had taken so long for him to craft this and it was worth it.

Roly was impressed by the boy's remarkable archery abilities, but was led to thinking that one of Apollo's kids may be better at it. Then again, the kid was pretty good at it. The raven haired boy hated archery, but loved his knives. Anything sharp that had a handle and was able to decapitate people was fun to play with. Kunai were different; throwing knives that could be infused with the elements to create a heck of an explosion. Being one of Hephaestus's kids you had to love the explosions. the firey kablooey that really brightened ones day.
"Pop is OK, but I prefer water. Sugar doesn't go that well with my physical state." Roly smiled after saying this, beginning to like the kid a little more. He couldn't be that bad, and it was a good thing for him to be doing, He imagined this kid knew plenty of people around camp.

Aaron pulled one of his arrows out of his quiver and looked at it. He turned it over in his hands looking at the blue feather like part at the end and ran it through his fingers. Aaron then took a rag out of his back pocket and rubbed the brown juice from the pop off of the arrow. He did this for all of his arrows until all of them had a perfect, shiny tip.
"I guess it is different for everyone, sugar helps me with my fighting skills. It makes me not want to go lie down and take a nap. It also gives me strength that I would not normally have." It was nice to get to know someone but he wanted to know a little more before he could call himself this guy's friend. "What kind of weapon to you like to use?" He asked smiling.

Roly watched as the younger demigod polished his arrows. That reminded the sixteen year old that he hadn't saw his sword in quite a while. The thing was huge, yet light enough for most anyone to lift. It really didn't matter to him anyways, most things were light when he was the one who was talking. You could thank his mother for that; sports and the weight room had really done him good. Mom really loved to meet the single fathers at the games, too...
When the question was asked about his weapon, Roly smirked and reached into his pocket. When his hand came out there were Kunai between each of his fingers, placed up by his knuckles. "I like these little suckers." The Kunai were currently only on his one hand, the right, and were polished until the shined also. "Got anymore pop cans?" Roly asked this while smiling mischievously, eyes glistening in the light.

(This is gonna be short, sorry)
Aaron listened intently to what Roly said. He then replied. "Oh yeah I have a whole nother ice box full. Those things are cool." He waited for a response as he then took one of his arrows and notched it into his bow. He then released it and it flew throuh the air finally after what seemed like forever it hit a giant oak tree which bark immediatly flew off upon impact. The arrow, probably permamently, notched itself into the oak.

Roly smiled at the boy; taking in the fact that either he was addicted to shooting that bow or he just liked to show off. Whichever one it was he didn't care, not truly at least, because he wasn't one to be envious. He preferred to be as nonchalant as possible until he blew his top, after which it was possible for people to be injured or at least angry with him for a while. Holding grudges also was found in Roly's list of expertise.
Roly nodded in response to Aaron, fulfilling his quiet side's need. He had three dominant sides: Paternal, Angry, and Gregarious. These may have been the main aspects to his split personality, but Bashful and Quiet also had a part, alongside Playful and Happy. Normally the battles went something like this:
"Awe, kill him already! ANNOYING!" "Give him a little more time, I'm sure you'll like him soon. "Shut up, Gramps!" "I say we show off, too! Show him up!" "Run away!!!! We don't know it's safe!" "Run away? Decapitation! Murder! Assassination! Anarchy!!!" "Ask him if he's ever played sports! Converse, man!" "That's it. Angry, you're grounded. Gregarious, nice idea. Bashful, we are not running away." "You can't ground me! I'm not even a person, I'm a frction of his mind you old kook!"
After these inner battles, Roly would come up with the best thing to say. Sometimes the sides got so annoying he get severe headaches from it. Other times he just hesistated, and occasionally a side would escape and speak its mind.

Aaron pulled out his dagger that he always kept hitched in his belt and threw it as hard as he could at a pop can. Te can burst into peices and the sugary liquid splashed all over the wooden stand it was resting on. Aaron then retreaved his dagger from the mess and cleaned off the blade, being careful not to slice himself. Aaron then deposited his dagger back into his sheath and thouht of what to do next.
Aaron had once known someone who was a follower of Kronos. Some of his beliefs had rubbed off on Aaron and now he constantly had regrets that sometimes caused him to go completely insane and sometimes he could control them. "If you would have joined Caldon you would have had so much power. You would have been respected and praised day and night." "If you joined him you would have been sad and angry. You made the right decision staying here."
